Check the Calendar for
Specific Dates in October. “Make a Difference” What is “Day of Caring”? “Day of Caring” is United Way of Hernando County’s annual volunteer service event. On this day, volunteers come together and really understand how to LIVE UNITED by providing support to Partner Agencies and Education. Volunteer assistance may include painting, sorting clothing, landscaping, yard work, and the list is endless! The volunteer teams will be working from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. during this Day of Caring. How do I volunteer for “Day of Caring”? You can volunteer individually or coordinate a team through your place of employment or organization. Volunteers will receive a United Way Day of Caring T-Shirt. Most of all, you will receive the satisfaction of helping your community by Living United. You can complete a Volunteer Form through this download or by calling 352-688-2026. THANK YOU for Living United through United Way’s “Day of Caring”. |
